Quick Post on baby boys

It has been a crazy two weeks, and I am hoping to post their birth story soon. There were some initial scares in the hospital but everyone is doing great now. But in the meantime here are some pictures!

It's almost go time!

We have a date! As of now the caesarean section is set up for this Thursday 7/10 at 8am (37w3d)... We really wanted 7/11 but if something opens up Monday or Tuesday we can change it. I probably won't want to by that point though because I am getting so excited to meet the boys! Even though I feel them moving and I am as big as a house I still can't believe that I am going to be a mom... a mom of two boys. I have my final ultrasound on Tuesday.. My hospital bag is mostly packed, as well as the diaper bag full of baby clothes (that I probably won't use but couldn't help myself). The main stuff is in the nursery, decorations can come later along with a book shelf or cubbies for the few toys we have. My head is spinning...my heart is racing...

36 Weeks

I am still in amazement that I have made it this far into my twin pregnancy. I am so thankful that things have went the way they have and I am so ready to meet my sons. I had some menstrual type cramping last night and lower back pain but at my doctors appointment today they said my cervix was still closed and not softening so all is well. I also got my growth ultrasound today. Baby A is measuring 7lbs which is in the 80th something percentile, Baby B is measuring 5lbs 12oz and is in the 40th something percentile and the doctor said the difference in sizes was safe. Of course they could be off a pound. My doctor is having me go to the hospital tomorrow with MFM to get another growth scan with their fancy machine to double check the sizes. This will determine whether I get my scheduled c-section at 37 or 38 weeks. Of course the boys could make up their minds to come earlier...
I will try to update you tomorrow on the sizes. It may be a couple of days until the c-section is scheduled. Bump picture updated in tab.

I have been praying and cheering for so many of you guys that are still in the trenches. I am going to try to catch up with blogs today. I wish I had magic dust to give all of you your take home babies. I have cried so many tears for you and it isn't fair. xoxoxoxo
