18 weeks

Okay.. so I am going to try to keep up with the weekly updates. Try.. I keep updating the bump shots on the tab. With each passing week I give all thanks to God.

18 weeks: Two little sweet potatoes

Miss anything? Probably sleeping through the night, but I think this is God's way of getting me ready for the babies.

Movement: I feel flutters where I am hearing the heartbeats at night so I am pretty sure that is what I am feeling, but it isn't constant.

Food craving: Everything salty... Pickles for sure (I know so cliche), cheese, chips and salsa, hot dogs, banana peppers, salad and sometimes I fall in love with some sour gummy worms.

Anything make you queasy or sick? Not really, there are some foods that I just don't want to have anything to do with but I have been SO lucky and not had any sickness.

Gender: TWO BOYS!

Labor signs: No.... Thank you Jesus

Symptoms: My hips and lower back are pretty angry during the night, and my knees and lower back don't love me during the day. I get short of breath really easy if I try to do too much as well. The nasal congestion continues and a few bloody noses have joined in on the fun. My headaches are hit and miss, why is Tylenol so worthless? I had migraines and headaches before but without being able to take anything they get pretty bad.

Belly button in or out: In

Wedding rings on or off? They are on, but my fingers swelled up at church today so I had to put my wedding band on my right hand and keep my engagement ring on my left hand. It did get better so that I could put them both back on the same finger an hour or so after I left though.

Looking forward to: A lot! I can't wait to feel them moving around on a daily basis and my husband being able to feel them from the outside as well. I am super ready for my doctors appointment this week and for our anatomy scan on March 5th (Ash Wednesday).

  2. I had a lot of headaches and backaches around 18 weeks too. The only thing that made me feel better was going for walks (on my treadmill)

So glad to hear an update from you!

  5. The blue/white one is actually not a maternity skirt I just put it below my belly, I got it at Marshals. The grey/black one was purchased at Macy's I think..my husband bought it for me but the brand is motherhood maternity. Thanks!!

    1. Thank you! I will have to look around those stores. Don't need the maternity ones at the moment, of course I hope to one day :)

  6. I struggled with congestion and bloody noses all through this pregnancy. Simply Saline was approved by my midwife and worked well!

  7. Sounds like everything is going really good so far! I had the sleepless nights and horrible hip pain too, but that's pretty minor compared to puking all the time! Haha! Hope things continue to be smooth sailing :)
