36 Weeks

I am still in amazement that I have made it this far into my twin pregnancy. I am so thankful that things have went the way they have and I am so ready to meet my sons. I had some menstrual type cramping last night and lower back pain but at my doctors appointment today they said my cervix was still closed and not softening so all is well. I also got my growth ultrasound today. Baby A is measuring 7lbs which is in the 80th something percentile, Baby B is measuring 5lbs 12oz and is in the 40th something percentile and the doctor said the difference in sizes was safe. Of course they could be off a pound. My doctor is having me go to the hospital tomorrow with MFM to get another growth scan with their fancy machine to double check the sizes. This will determine whether I get my scheduled c-section at 37 or 38 weeks. Of course the boys could make up their minds to come earlier...
I will try to update you tomorrow on the sizes. It may be a couple of days until the c-section is scheduled. Bump picture updated in tab.

I have been praying and cheering for so many of you guys that are still in the trenches. I am going to try to catch up with blogs today. I wish I had magic dust to give all of you your take home babies. I have cried so many tears for you and it isn't fair. xoxoxoxo

  4. I have been wondering how you are doing! My boys measured similarly this past Thursday at 34w3d and the Mfm wasn't concerned but i am glad they are double checking you tomorrow to be safe. I can't wait to hear when your csxn will be scheduled for!!! You are so close !!! Thinking of you!!

  5. Yay! You are doing awesome!! My boys usually measured within ounces of each other and then they were nearly a pound and a half different and completely healthy when they were born. It was fascinating to have an ultrasound this late in pregnancy. I always described it as an over stuffed jumbled bag of baby parts! It is so incredibly surreal once you get that csection date!! Super excited for you!
