Crazy Train

I have officially boarded the crazy train. Don't get me wrong I have got on and looked around a few times, but I am on this damn train until Tuesday. My husband was the one that bought me the ticket.

My OHSS has been getting better the last couple of days. He walked into the bedroom last night and said "so we probably aren't pregnant since you are getting better, because I read online it is supposed to get worse". Yesterday was 3dp5dt, implantation is supposed to occur today 4dp5dt. I told him that I wouldn't have any pregnancy hormones in my system to make the OHSS get worse. He has yelled at me numerous times to get off of that "damn google". So why is he on that damn google!! I know he is super anxious ,really wants the IVF to be a success and feels as if he has no control. I get it! I really get it but I don't want him to tell me stuff he found on a message board.

So needless to say I have been on Google off and on all morning. I am done now. It is in God's hands and I will know if our beautiful embryos decided to take up camp in my uterus on Tuesday.

Did any of you have OHSS get better and still end up being pregnant?

  2. On our first cycle, yes. I did get mild OHSS and by the day of my blood test almost felt 100% normal. My first BETA was 100. Although it didn't work out, it had nothing to do with OHSS-they assume the embryo was unhealthy and didn't continue to grow. All this to say, my OHSS went away, but I was pregnant. Honestly, this waiting is the worst and slowest part of IVF. I cried when we had to do it a 2nd time because of the "2 week wait." Out of all the shots, surgery, and crap, I dreaded these long days the most. But you are so so close!! Tuesday is just a snap of the fingers away :) I agree-try to stay away from google. I do it too and sometimes find hope but then find horror stories and end up upset. At the end of the day all bodies are so different. Hang in there friend! You are close!!

  3. I'll tell you exactly what my Dr told me. Around this time the trigger shot is leaving or has left your system so OHSS does get better. Everyone is different and will stop havin OHSS symptoms even if they are pregnant. Others have OHSS for the entire pregnancy. It all just depends on how your body reacts to it. Goodluck and stay off of google.

  5. stay away from google girl. We walk by faith, not by sight. Don't get caught up in the natural circumstances or how you are feeling or not feeling, God is so much bigger than that!
